Meet the founder.
I moved from Chile to Australia in my late twenties without speaking English, without family nearby, and with no idea where the journey would lead. During that time, I experienced anxiety and homesickness. Yoga and movement became my anchor, giving me structure, calm, and a sense of belonging.
With a background in Fashion Design, I’ve always cared about the details —
how a garment feels, fits, moves, and is made.
In 2023, I saw an opportunity to create activewear differently. Not just focused on how it looks or performs, but on what touches your skin, what it’s made from, who makes it, and how it fits into your everyday life.
Growing up in Chile, seeing the textile waste in the Atacama Desert also shaped how I see fashion. I believe we need to move away from fast consumption and disposable clothing.
OHLA ACTIVE® was created with one simple intention: less, but better.
We carefully choose our materials, work with an ethical manufacturing partner in Bali, and keep our collections small and intentional.
I’m personally involved in every stage — from fibre and fabric selection to design, fit, and production.
