At OHLA ACTIVE® we prioritise comfort, durability and responsible material choices. Our goal is to offer an alternative to conventional polyester-heavy athleisure by focusing on breathable and lower-impact fabrics.

Our fabrics

We carefully select materials based on softness, longevity and skin comfort:

• OCS-certified organic cotton fleece
• OEKO-TEX® certified bamboo viscose
• LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres (upcoming)
• REPREVE® recycled nylon (upcoming performance activewear)

Organic cotton allows us to create lounge garments without the plastic fibres commonly found in traditional sweatwear. Bamboo viscose provides a smooth and breathable feel suitable for yoga and studio movement.

Production

Our garments are produced in small batches with independent manufacturing partners in Bali, Indonesia. Small production helps us avoid overstock and reduces unnecessary waste.

We focus on making pieces designed to last multiple seasons rather than fast fashion cycles.

Why this matters

Synthetic fleece garments release microplastics during washing. By offering natural fibre lounge alternatives, we aim to reduce reliance on petroleum-based fabrics while maintaining comfort and durability.

Sustainability for us is not perfection, it is continuous improvement, thoughtful decisions and responsible growth as a small brand.
